Welcome to My Thick Loaded Cookies!
Our story began with a simple love for baking and a passion for creating the light full treats that bring joy to others. I’m Claire, the founder of My Thick Loaded Cookies. My baking journey started years ago as a fun experiment in the kitchen, long before this dream came to life.
What began as a hobby quickly transformed into a heartfelt mission— to share my thick, gooey, and loaded cookies in the world. Even after moving to Edmonton in 2023, my passion for baking only grew. And with life’s unexpected challenges, this journey became even more meaningful.
In 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer, which caused a temporary detachment from my baking passion. Despite this setback, I never stopped experimenting in the kitchen. Baking became a source of comfort and strength during my treatment and recovery.
In 2024, I was diagnosed with cancer again. Despite this, I am determined to set a good example for others by following my dreams and not letting obstacles stand in my way. Encouraged by the support of friends and family, I decided to turn my passion into a homemade business, focusing on getting my delicious creations out to the public.
My journey with My Thick Loaded Cookies began with a. Simple goal: to share the delicious treats I bake for my loved ones—especially Justin—with all of you. Every cookie is crafted with the same care and passion I put into making something special for him, and my hope is that each bite brings a little joy and comfort to your day, just like it does for ours.
Originally, I started with Cup ‘n Crunch, inspired by the satisfying crunch in each cookie. But as my vision for this business grew, I wanted a name that reflected the essence of what I create: thickk, satisfying cookies, loaded with flavour, and made to be remembered. Hehe 😅
In January 2025, I’m thrilled to introduce a new section of My Thick Loaded Cookies called, Fit Treats, a project that’s been in my heart and mind since 2021. This section is incredibly personal to me, as I’ve created it to cater to those, like myself, who have food sensitivities and dietary restrictions. While I’m unable to enjoy the treats I currently make due to my health, Fit Treats will allow me—and others—to enjoy delicious, thick, and loaded snacks without compromise.
This journey has been years in the making, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
